Chubb Detector Lock Picking

Picking open Chubb Detector locks from 1830s

These heavy direct drive safes were among the first ever made by Mssrs Chubb and Sons

Pleasure to work on such history, extra time was taken to pick these locks open without damage.

Richard Taylor made the new keys, the tolerances between lever gate and bolt stump are extraordinarily fine. For vintage and antique lock restoration his keys are works of art.
