Demonstration of Hinge bolts on a safe door.
Yet another example but nice and well lit where I could film from right inside. Known also as dog bolts, these protrusions come in many forms, from round studs to bars the height of the door. Any decent safe will have a system to prevent the hinge edge being forced out.
